Following are instruction to perform Model 6200/6400 software update:

1. Download the software installation ZIP file from the web site by clicking on "6400SW_X_XX_XXXX" link. 
   Follow the instructions to save the file into the desired folder. 

2. Extract all files from the installation ZIP file onto a memory stick.

3. Insert the memory stick into one of the USB ports of Model 6200/6400 PC.

4. Create a copy of the folder named C:\MAT on Model 6200/6400 PC hard drive. 
   This copy will allow returning to the previous software version if necessary. 

5. Copy the MAT6400.exe and Proxies.dll files into C:\MAT folder. Overwrite the existing files in the folder.

6. Copy the _objects.dat and _objects.idx files into C:\MAT\DB folder. Overwrite the existing files in the folder.

7. Return to C:\MAT folder and doubleclick on Proxies.dll to register it. If registration successful then run the MAT software as usual.

8. Review the latest Software Release Notes for information on the new software features.
