Following are instruction to perform Model 6400 software update:

1. Download the 6400 installation ZIP file from the web site by clicking on "6400SW_4_XX" link. 
   Follow the instructions to save the file into the desired folder. 

2. Create a copy of the folder named C:\MAT on Model 6400 PC hard drive. 
   This copy will allow return to the previous software version if necessary. 

3. Create a new folder named C:\6400installation on Model 6400 PC hard drive.
   If the folder already exists then empty it by deleting all files in this folder.
 
4. If Model 6400 PC is connected to the Internet then save the installation zip file in the above folder, 
   otherwise use a CD-ROM or a disk on key to transfer the file to the above folder.   

5. Extract all files from the installation ZIP file into Model 6400 target location C:\6400installation.

6. Run C:\6400installation\Setup.bat file.
